2026 Clean Up Event

MEG and Montrose Township Group are collaborating to host an event for Clean Up Australia Day in Montrose. This will be a family-friendly community event where anyone can make a difference to the local neighbourhood and environment. Rubbish collection will focus on a range of locations in Montrose. Maps wil be provided.

Please bring gloves, a hat, long pants sturdy shoes.

MEG hosts an annual working bee for Clean Up Australia Day at a reserve in the Montrose area, on a Sunday in March. MEG members, local residents and the general public are welcome to join in this community event to pick up litter and create a cleaner environment for all to enjoy. Gloves and bags for litter collection are provided.
